BMO Private Wealth Case Competition

Are you ready to tackle a real-world business challenge and demonstrate your creativity, insight, and problem-solving skills to leaders at BMO?

The BMO Private Wealth Case Competition is inviting talented undergraduate students from colleges and universities across Canada to apply for an exciting, in-person event at the BMO Academy, in Toronto, on November 7, 2025.

Student teams of 3-4 members each from across the country will have the opportunity to address a challenging business case inspired by current industry trends. Teams will be competing for $7,000 in total prizes — with a first place prize of $4,000.

• The Case is posted at BMO Private Wealth Case Competition which contains the scoring rubric.
• Students register their Teams at BMO Private Wealth Case Competition and submit a high-level overview of their idea in up to a maximum of 300 words.

• Before you apply, please read through the official rules carefully

October 6, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. ET: Applications close

October 9: Selected Teams will receive an invitation to present in person on November 7, along with further information about the competition.

October 31, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. ET: Deadline for selected teams to submit final Case presentations.

November 7, 2025: In-person competition at BMO Academy. Note that Selected Teams are responsible for their own travel to BMO Academy, 33 Dundas St W., Toronto, ON, M5G 3C2.
